The Open Water Diver course is the first exciting step in learning to scuba dive. Our 2-day course is the only 2 day Open Water Diver course in Brisbane.

This special course format has been specifically designed with you in mind, to make the most of the small gaps in your busy life. What’s even better is that our dive centre utilises an online portal, which allows you to complete the theory portion of the course in the comfort of your own home, in your own time, at your own pace.

Our PRIVATE 2 Day Open Water Diver courses run on what ever dates you want it's your course. Start times are fixed at 6:45am on day 1 and dependent on the tides for day 2.

COURSE DETAILS

Prerequisites: 

• Be at least 12 years of age 
• View our “Dive Medical Info” section on our homepage and complete the questionnaire form to determine whether you require a dive medical from a certified dive medical doctor before taking part on a course
• Be able to swim 200 metres without stopping and tread water continuously for 10 minutes 

When you sign up with us, you will receive a booking confirmation email containing more information and the finer details of your course. Once you have created your MySSI account, your online theory will be sent to you within 24 hours. This theory can take between 8-10 hours to complete, so make sure to take these two factors into consideration when choosing course dates.
