1936 brachte Red Wing den ersten „Pull-on”-Stiefel im Engineer-Stil für Reiter und Jäger auf den Markt. 1941 gewann das Modell bei Vermessungsingenieuren und Dampflokführern an Beliebtheit, was zu seinem heutigen Namen „Engineer” führte.

Over time, it became favored not only for its functionality but also for how it developed a worn-in character, embodying Red Wing’s tradition of blending craftsmanship with utility.

ABOUT KLONDIKE LEATHER
Black Klondike leather is made from a brown core leather with adouble  tanned black finish. This type of leather ages to a beautifual patina with every wear. The black paint will gradually wear off to reveal the brown color underneath, creating a great vintage look.
