CDG Barf Veggie Mix is a versatile and healthy vegetable supplement for raw-fed dogs. It makes it easier to put together a varied and nutrient-rich diet. The air-dried vegetables in Barf Veggie Mix contain many important nutrients, such as vitamins, minerals and fibre, which are especially beneficial for raw-fed dogs alongside a meat-rich diet.

CdG Veggie is a balanced and versatile, 100% natural plant-based blend to support dogs' feeding.

Contents: Pea, potato, parsnip, beetroot, carrot, spinach, alfalfa, tomato, Jerusalem artichoke. Does not contain preservatives or additives.

Dried vegetables are more concentrated than fresh ones, so the amount should be small but regular. As a supplementary nutrient for the daily meat-based diet.

Dosage:

The feeding ratio should be approximately 70% – 80% meat and 20% – 30% BARF mix.

Basic dose (dried, before soaking):

🐶 Small dogs (under 10 kg): 1–2 tsp per day
🐕 Medium-sized dogs (10–25 kg): 1–2 tbsp per day
🐕‍🦺 Large dogs (over 25 kg): 2–4 tbsp per day

Or as needed, taking the rest of the diet into account.

Soak the BARF mix in hot water (ratio 1:1) for 10–15 minutes.
Allow to cool to hand temperature before feeding.

Carrots contain a lot of vitamin A (9800 µg/100 g), beta-carotene (94 384,2 µg), fibre (13.8 g/ 100 g) and minerals, especially selenium (1.6 µg/100 g) and vitamin K (158.33 µg). They also contain potassium (1500 mg), calcium (200 mg) and magnesium (100 mg).

Beetroot contains, among other things, potassium (2466 mg/100 g) and plenty of folic acid (705 mcg/100 g), and B vitamins (2.5 mg). It also has an appetite-stimulating effect, and its fibre (18%) supports digestion.

Parsnip contains plenty of vitamin E (4,5 IU /100 g) and B vitamins (B1: 0,1–0,2 mg, B2: 0,1 mg, B3: 2,0–3,5 mg, B5: 0,5–1,0 mg, B6: 0,2–0,4 mg, B9: 50–100 µg),
phosphorus (396 mg/ 100 g) and plenty of fibre (16 g/100 g).

Alfalfa contains plenty of easily absorbable vitamins (A, C, E and K), minerals (calcium 1,5 mg, potassium 3 mg, phosphorus 0,3 mg, iron 30 mg), protein (20–25 g / 100 g) and essential amino acids.

Dried pea is nutrient-rich and contains plenty of protein (25%, including lysine), fibre (25%) as well as important vitamins (B vitamins 5,4 mg) and minerals (zinc 4 mg, iron 6 mg, calcium 100 mg).

Dried potato contains a lot of starch (70–80%), which provides the dog with easily digestible and long-lasting energy. It is a good alternative to grains, for example, if the dog needs a gluten-free diet. Many dogs are allergic or sensitive to grains such as wheat or corn. Potato is a hypoallergenic alternative that is suitable for many dogs with sensitive stomachs. Dried potato contains 5–10% fibre, which supports gut function and digestion.

Spinach contains many vitamins, minerals and beneficial antioxidants. The abundant antioxidants help reduce oxidative stress in the body.

Jerusalem artichoke is a natural prebiotic, as it contains a lot of inulin, which feeds the beneficial bacteria in the gut. Especially good for dogs with a sensitive stomach or digestive problems!
